Yes in the recurring entry option as you Create or Edit, you will notice that you have the ability to Suspend Postings.
This can therefore be used for the two monthÆs postings where you receive your free months and it can then be unchecked when you want the recurring entry to start again.

The recurring entry would have to be set up for both sides of the Journal, for example, one Recurring Entry for the Journal Credit and one Recurring Entry for the Journal Debit.
Any Recurring Entries which have Bank Transaction types, such as Bank Payments/Bank Receipts will all post an automatic double entry.

You can process Variable Posting Recurring Entries as many times as necessary during the month but you cannot post this type of recurring entry more than once on the same day.

In Settings under Company Preferences and Parameters, there is an option called No Recurring Entries at Startup.
Ensure there is no tick in this box then when you log into the program on the relevant day, you will be prompted with a message saying that you have Recurring Entries ready to process.
